The upcoming ZOD1AC album 'Yesterday & Tomorrow' is more than just a beat tape. It’s the deeply personal story of artist Val Murray’s gender transition. These first two singles take us into the story’s first act, where Murray begins to face her gender dysphoria at the start of the pandemic. 'dysphoria sunshine' is haze-like, a representation of Murray searching for answers, grappling with her true self, while 'the girl in the mirror' begins to reveal a glimmer of light, and with it, some hope she’ll find what she’s looking for.
